Slingball raises $24k & Congrats to our new
MJN Sling24 champion, Austin Green!
It was a tight final four, but in the end, it was Austin Green defeating Ramsay Neu in the Slingball 24 finals. Austin is the son of two-time champ, Bryan Green, making them the first-ever father-son champions. The left-handed Ramsay Neu threw darts most of the tourney but finally met his match in Austin. Raul “The Claw” Delgadillo and Maxwell King, brother of last year’s champ Colby King, rounded out the final 4! Great finals everyone and the Sweet 16 is listed below.
For the mini Marilyn Kid’s Tourney, we had some incredible battles with one kid coming out as our new champ: Cooper Rodriguez! Cooper defeated friend Mason Puga in a tight finals match and be on the lookout for both of these players in the years to come. 3rd place went to Dusty Anderson and 4th to Kristina Wald. The Pearce Lutz Sportsmanship Award went to Will Briney for being a great sport and the Making Their Own Rules award went to Freya Sather for making her own rules. Lol. Thank you for all our kids who participated. You are all winners in our book!
A sincere thank you to all our Slingball Supporters, especially our donors, volunteers, Pacific City businesses, Tillamook County, and the State of Oregon. Without you, we couldn’t make such a huge difference in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis.
Special congrats to the first-ever Roger J. Neu Volunteer Award: Torri Knight. Torri’s countless hours behind the merch stand, including set up and take down don’t go unnoticed! Plus Torri is an expecting mother-to-be! Runners-up include Angie Dagler, Cara Cook, Heather O’Leary, Tracy Wenckus, Maggie Albertson & honestly, too many others to list! All of our volunteers are greatly appreciated and our dad, Roger J. Neu, would be proud! You are the best!
With everyone’s help, we were able to raise over $24,000 to help those with MS and the fight against MS. Big thanks also to all the non-attendees who donated online, much appreciated! All of your commitment helps people like Mike Stofiel, a true MS warrior!

Like always, it’s YOU, that makes a difference in the lives of many. Our mom Marilyn J. Neu wouldn’t have it any other way, than paying it forward. And, our dad Roger J. Neu loved giving back to the community. Thank you for honoring them and supporting such a worthy cause.
